Terms & Conditions

Standard commercial terms governing custom packaging manufacturing, proof approvals, production lead times, and client orders with Parcela®.

Effective Date: August 2026• Version 3.4

SECTION 1

Agreement to Terms

By accessing or utilizing the Parcela® website, requesting custom packaging quotes, uploading artwork, placing orders, or confirming electronic proofs, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you are entering into this agreement on behalf of a company, organization, or brand, you represent that you possess the legal authority to bind that entity to these conditions.

SECTION 2

Custom Packaging Quotes, Pricing & MOQs

A. Quote Validity: Quotations issued through our online quote builder or direct sales representatives remain valid for 30 calendar days, after which pricing may be re-indexed to reflect prevailing paper pulp, chipboard, and raw material index fluctuations.

B. Minimum Order Quantities (MOQs): Customized box production entails specialized plate-making, die-cutting tooling, and automated machinery setup. Standard MOQs range from 50 to 500 units depending on box construction (rigid boxes, corrugated cartons, folding cartons, or pouches).

SECTION 3

Artwork Submissions, Dielines & Proof Approval

Crucial Pre-Press Verification Notice

Prior to actual manufacturing, our prepress engineering department generates a Digital PDF / 3D Proof depicting dieline cuts, fold orientations, bleed margins, and graphic placements.

Client Responsibility: You are solely responsible for thoroughly verifying text, spelling, UPC barcodes, dimensions, and artwork alignments. Once written or digital approval is recorded, Parcela® is not liable for errors that were present on the approved proof.

SECTION 4

Manufacturing Tolerances & Color Accuracy

Color Matching: We utilize advanced CMYK 4-color offset and flexographic printing alongside optional Pantone Matching System (PMS) spot colors. While we strive for strict color fidelity, subtle color shifts may occur across differing substrates (e.g. coated kraft vs white SBS board vs unbleached corrugated).

Industry Quantity Tolerance (±5%):In accordance with standard industrial custom manufacturing practices, final delivered quantities may vary by up to ±5% due to press calibration setup sheets. If an under-run occurs, you will be credited proportionally.

Dimensional Tolerance:Standard die-cutting tolerance is within ±1.5mm of the approved CAD dieline file.

SECTION 5

Turnaround Times & Production Schedules

Production lead times commence on the business day following both final artwork proof approval and receipt of confirmed payment.

Estimated lead times (typically 8 to 15 business days) do not account for transit durations or unexpected carrier delays resulting from customs inspections, inclement weather, or national holidays.

SECTION 6

Shipping, Freight & Delivery Terms

All freight shipments are shipped FOB Origin / Ex-Works unless specified otherwise in your commercial quotation. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer once goods are tendered to the designated freight carrier.

For full details regarding shipping damage procedures and claims, please refer to our Refund & Return Policy.

SECTION 7

Payment, Invoicing & Taxes

Unless net payment terms have been formally approved through our corporate credit program, all custom packaging manufacturing requires 100% advance payment prior to plate-making and production initiation.

All applicable local, state, or federal sales taxes, customs tariffs, and import duties are the responsibility of the purchaser.

SECTION 8

Intellectual Property & Artwork Warranty

Client Indemnification: You warrant that you own or hold appropriate licenses for all trademarks, logos, copy, and graphical artwork uploaded to Parcela®. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Parcela® against any claims, losses, or legal fees resulting from alleged copyright or trademark infringements of client-provided assets.

SECTION 9

Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Parcela® or its manufacturing affiliates be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages (including lost profits, retail launch delays, or product spoilage) arising out of the performance or breach of this agreement. Our maximum cumulative liability shall not exceed the actual amount paid by the customer for the specific order under dispute.

SECTION 10

Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where Parcela Packaging Corp is registered, without regard to conflict of law principles.
